Debi Smigovsky Grim

Aside from being one of the owners of Aegis Title Associates, LLC, Debi is a winner of the TWIN (Tribute to Women in Industry) Award from the YWCA of Anne Arundel County. Debi has worked to become one of the premier title professionals in the Maryland/DC area. She has won awards for her excellence as well as praise from satisfied customers. Debi works harder than all others to be the most successful and dedicated title professionals in the region. With 26 years of title experience, she is well equipped to handle any issues and get the settlement to the table. She doesn't work for you, she works with you. Debi has two grown children, John Michael and Tara. She lives in Pasadena with her husband, Mike, and enjoys fishing and boating.


Alan R. Engel

Alan has been a member of the Maryland bar and practiced law in all Maryland state and federal courts since 1980. He graduated with a degree in economics from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) in 1974 and a law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1980. He is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel. He has taught real estate law and continuing education classes for real estate brokers and salespersons at the Community College of Baltimore County Catonsville Campus (formerly Catonsville Community College). He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and the Pasadena Business Association. Also, he is a member of the board of directors of the Chesapeake Arts Center, Inc. and the board of trustees of the Linthicum Ferndale Youth Athletic Association, Inc. His wife, Pam, is a biology teacher at Glen Burnie High School. Alan and Pam have three children, one of whom, Greg, designed and created this website.


Michael "Mike" Dacre

Mike came on board as a licensed settlement officer in 2005. In addition to his title license, he also has 20 years experience as a licensed property and casualty agent. He is a member of the Northern Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce and heads a chapter of the PBA's (Pasadena Business Association) Leads Club. He has completed MLTA's three-part series, "Nuts & Bolts of Title & Settlement in Maryland." He works with his clients to accommodate their closings at their home, realtor’s office, lender’s office, or here at Aegis Title Associates, LLC at any time convenient to all parties in the transaction. No job is too small. He is a lifelong Anne Arundel County resident who enjoys boating, fishing, bike riding on the B&A Trail, and just about any outdoor activity. He resides in Pasadena with his wife Karen.


Melissa Parsons

Melissa has been in the title business for several years. She supervises our processors, troubleshoots problem files, and keeps the office running smoothly.


Tonya Spicer

Tonya is a licensed settlement officer/marketer and processor. She has been licensed since October 2005. Tonya came to Aegis Title Associates, LLC in early 2007. Formerly, she managed and ran another title company. She also has experience from a former position at a law firm where she worked as a Post Foreclosure Supervisor. Her duties included handling foreclosures, evictions, clearing title for HUD properties and issuing title policies, recording documents, and reviewing title work. She is also a graduate of Maryland Land Title Association's three-part series, "Nuts & Bolts of Title & Settlement in Maryland." Tonya is a current member of the Maryland Land Title Association as well. Tonya is a member of the White Marsh chapter of Business networking International (BNI) and is a Marine Corps veteran, 1981-1987. She, her husband, David, and their children, Alexander, Anna, Shannon, and Kyle, live in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County. they share their home with their mix Jack Russell Terrier named Maxi, and Umbrella Cockatoo named Roscoe. When not providing customers with her title expertise, Tonya enjoys reading, doing puzzles, arts and crafts, making floral arrangements and hot tubbing!
